Meet one of Room 14s newest class members Slidy!

Last term we had lots of fun creating a robot to help us in the classroom. Slidy has lots of cool and interesting parts that makes him a very useful robot for our classroom.

Leila

Today we had a very special visitor come in and visit us.  Nicki brought her dog Leila in for us to meet. Leila is a very special dog because she is training to be a guide dog. 

Thank you so much Nicki for taking time out of your day to bring Leila in for us to meet and for teaching us about guide dogs. We loved meeting Leila and thought she was just wonderful!

Guide Dogs

Today the checks read a book about Guide Dogs. They used their white thinking hat to identify the key facts from the story and created a pic collage sharing their learning.

They did a wonderful job!

Calendar Art

This term the school will be selling a variety of products with your child's art work. There are diaries, calendars, cards and mouse pads for you to purchase. An order form will be sent home in week 3. You will also be able to view your child's art work in the school hall on Wednesday afternoon 5th August and Thursday morning 6th August.

Spider Art

This term our theme for art has been animals.
